Sudjai was imprisoned after a court hearing on 12 October 2023 when he was prohibited from appealing to the Supreme Court. He immediately began serving the sentence of one year and six months mandated by the Appeal Court.<\/p>\n
Following the Court of First Instance\u2019s verdict, Sudjai was granted bail with the conditions of wearing an EM anklet device and being barred from leaving his residence from 15.00-05.00. The Court later adjusted the period he had to remain in his residence to 18.00-05.00. Then, on 25 May 2022, the Appeal Court upheld the Court of First Instance\u2019s verdict. Still, Sudjai was granted bail pending his appeal to the Supreme Court. Nonetheless, on 12 October 2023, Sudjai was informed that his appeal to the Supreme Court was dismissed and he had to go straight to jail.<\/p>\n
