He was charged with violating the Article 112 of the Criminal Code and the Computer Crimes Act for allegedly sharing three Facebook posts, including one post by an ordinary person and two posts by the \u201cKTUK \u2013 Khon Thai UK\u201d Facebook Page during January-March 2021 about vaccine monopoly, the persons who signed off on the Tua Chang, and a speech calling for monarchy reform by \"Mind\" Patsaravalee during #Mob24March.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The complaint was filed by Pattarawan Khamma, who is a relative of Jiratwat\u2019s wife and was a secretary on legal affairs for the Centre for COVID\u201019 Situation Administration (CCSA). Jiratwat\u2019s wife and Pattarawan had an argument and filing a l\u00e8se majest\u00e9 complaint was used as a tool to harass the other person. This case demonstrates how Article 112 of the Criminal Code paves the way for a person to report a case against another person even though the  person who reported the case was not the injured party. As a result, the offence has often been used as a tool of harassment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jiratwat was convicted and sentenced to three years for each count, for a total of nine years.
