Today, for the first time in many days, I held Issaranon and hugged Pran. The two children were bright and cheerful. Pran, the older sister, is 8. She has lost a few more teeth. Bumps are starting to appear on Issaranon\u2019s gums, probably teeth that are pushing through.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition to my family\u2019s presence at the court, friends also sat with me and offered encouragement during the trial. One older sister -- whom I didn\u2019t know personally -- travelled from Lamphun to provide support after seeing the news on Facebook.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Actually, a lot of people agree with and support this struggle of young people. We are spread out all over the country and all over the world. The 2020 youth uprising changed the country tremendously. We inspired people to work and changed how they think. This is clear from the latest election results \u2013 70% do not want the old society.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Being imprisoned this time is an honor, and it is my great honor to have a small part in the struggle.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It\u2019s late. Tomorrow I have to go to court.
