Thattapong Kwiawkhao, aka “Nack”, has participated in political demonstrations since early 2021 before he was arrested along with other participants under the Din Daeng Expressway on 22 August 2021. He was later charged with or violating the Emergency Decree and Articles 215 and216 of the Criminal Code.

After his arrest, he rarely participated in further public demonstrations, until the APEC meeting. Then, he was placed under arrest again unexpectedly after walking through a background checkpoint as part of the security protocol of the APEC meeting on 16 November 2022. He was later charged with possession of explosives and ammunition during the public assemblies led by the Thalugaz group on Ratchaprarop Road on 21 November 2021.

On 4 November 2024 Nak was released from the Bangkok Remand Prison after meeting the criteria for a pardon, He was imprisoned approximately 1 year and 8 months.
